Working together

I offer confidential professional psychotherapy and counselling using an integrative approach. I work with individuals on a range of problems and issues including, but not limited to: relationship worries, work related issues, loss and bereavement, eating disorders, childhood difficulties, abuse, self-esteem, confidence and assertiveness, stress, anxiety, and depression.

My primary focus is working with you in a relaxed, relational way to develop a therapeutic relationship which provides a safe space and the time and opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns.

I work mainly long-term but the number of sessions depends greatly on the nature of the concern and your preference.

What to expect

A session usually comprises 50 minutes. Our first session together will be to assess whether we feel we can work together.

If we decide to go ahead, we will then agree a contract of working which will outline frequency of meeting (usually weekly, at the same time each week), confidentiality, data protection, complaints procedure and payment of fees.

Please do get in contact: I would be happy to talk with you about your concerns and to discuss if counselling/ psychotherapy could be a suitable option for you.
